Model.section("PlaneStress", tag, material, thickness)#
Parameters:

  • tag (int) – integer tag identifying the section

  • material (int) – integer tag identifying a General Materials

  • thickness (float) – section thickness

A PlaneStress section imposes a plane stress condition on the response of it’s material.
